My dear Madiha,

                                   The news of your mother’s death came as a severe shock to us. Nothing that one can say in such circumstances can adequately express the feeling which all entertain for you, but it will be some little consolation for you to remember even in your deep grief that your mother was so greatly loved and respected by us all. And that we sincerely mourn the loss of a lady who had endeared herself to everyone. I take this opportunity to express my deepest sympathy and sorrow in your great loss. Trusting that time will serve to lessen your great sorrow, and heal the terrible wound you have sustained.
